Campgrounds in Cannon Beach, OR

Located in northwest Washington, Cannon Beach is an coastal town surrounded by recreational opportunities. The town is named after a cannon that washed onto the beach from a wrecked US Navy ship. The small resort town is lined with restaurants, cafes and shopping stores. The area is popular for wine tasting and has outdoor opportunities for hiking, biking, fishing and boating.

Sea Ranch RV Park

The Sea Ranch RV Park offers visitors cabins, RV sites, tent sites and stables for livestock. The park is ideal for horse owners who enjoy riding on the beach and it is within minutes of the shopping and dining of Cannon Beach. The park has picnic tables, wireless Internet, fire rings, restrooms, showers, laundry facilities, horseback rides, a general store, wellness center and more. The park is in a quiet wooded setting and is pet and family friendly. RV sites have hookups for water, sewer, and offer 30 to 50-amp electrical.

Nehalem Bay State Park

Located 16 miles south of Cannon Beach, this state run park offers camping within a short walk of the beach. The park has tent sites, RV sites and yurts and the campground area has restrooms, showers, walking trails, a bike path, playground, amphitheater and recycling center. Some of the sites are designed for use with horses and remote fly-in sites are available in the park. The beach access is ideal for swimming, fishing and kayaking and the trails within the park allow hiking and biking. It is also common to see deer, elk and other wildlife in the area.

Saddle Mountain State Park

Located 15 miles east of town, this campground is managed by the state of Oregon. It has primitive campsites with access to the 2.5 mile Saddle Mountain Trail. Shaded sites are available and the campground has a restroom and picnic tables. The location is ideal for quiet basic camping in the mountains. The park has several hiking opportunities, mountain scenery and it is common to see wildlife. It is also a short drive to services in Cannon Beach and ocean activities.
