Coldwater Lake Family Park
The campground at the 28-acre Coldwater Lake Family Park has 95 campsites with water hookups, an RV dump station, five rental cabins, restrooms and showers. Coldwater lake is located at the edge of the camp and a boat ramp is free for guests. The sandy beach has volleyball nets and horseshoe pits and is perfect for swimming or fishing. Visitors will enjoy picnicking at two covered pavilion areas, and children can play on the Old West-themed playground. The park is open from May to mid-October.

Gammy Woods Campground
Gammy Woods Campground, open from May to October, is located in a wooded area and offers 83 campsites, from the rustic to those with water and electric hookups. Amenities include restrooms and showers, an RV dump station, a basketball court, volleyball nets, horseshoe pits, fire pits and picnic tables. Activities include swimming in the campground pond with a sandy beach and hiking on walking trails just outside of the park. Pets are welcome, but they must be leashed at all times and are not permitted inside any buildings or the beach area.

Herrick Recreation Area
Herrick Recreation Area is a 113-acre park with 73 campsites featuring water and electric hookups. This campground is open from approximately May to mid-October as of January 2010. Campground facilities include cabin rentals, restrooms, showers, a dump station and a boat launch. Other amenities are three fishing ponds, a railroad-theme playground, volleyball nets, horseshoe pits, beach area and two covered picnic areas. Hiking and biking is available at the 30-mile long Pere Marquette Rail-Trail only three miles from the campground.
