Pittstown is located approximately 25 minutes northeast of Troy, New York. Founded in circa 1740, Pittstown is located near outdoor recreational sites such as the Grafton Lakes and Dunham Reservoir. These bodies of water provide opportunities for fishing and boating excursions. The hotel is also near the Mohawk-Hudson Bikeway, a 36-mile path that runs parallel to the Hudson River, and Cherry Plain State Park, which has facilities for camping. The Hampton Inn in Bennington, Vermont, has a relaxed, friendly environment and provides facilities for luggage holding, children's activities and a complimentary continental breakfast. Each guest room at the Hampton Inn includes 24-hour housekeeping service, work desk and access to Wi-Fi Internet, and some of the suites feature a hot tub. Hampton Inn is near the Backroads of the Revolution, a 13-mile cycling trail that passes by many of the area's historical sites, such as the Old First Church.
