San Francisco is home to very few RV parks as the area is exceptionally crowded and the price of land is at a premium. There are still a number of excellent resorts, however, both in and around the city limits, providing visitors with a comfortable place to stay and with only a quick trip into the heart of the city.

Candlestick RV Park

This park is the only one located within the actual city limits of San Francisco. It is perfect for tailgating at 49ers' games, as it is located just outside of Candlestick Park, the team's stadium. The park also offers stunning views of the bay, as it is right beside the water. When you're ready to hit the big city, there are public transportation options available or you can just use the park's free shuttle service.
The park offers 165 full hookup sites and 24 tent sites. There are picnic tables, showers, a laundromat, a grocery store and a commons room available to make your stay more pleasant and convenient. Propane is available for purchase, and Wi-Fi is free throughout the park.

Treasure Island RV Park

Don't let the name fool you into thinking this resort is located on the island of the same name located along the famous Bay Bridge. Instead, the Treasure Island RV Park is conveniently located just inside of South San Francisco. Public transportation is available from this location, and you are only 15 minutes away from downtown San Francisco if you are traveling by car. The park itself is pristine and adorned with beautiful cypress trees. Weekend warriors and long-term vacationers are all welcome to enjoy the park for as long (or as short) of a period as they desire. Showers, laundromats, playgrounds and picnic areas are all provided for your enjoyment.

San Francisco RV Resort

Pacifica is located just a few minutes south of San Francisco along the stunning, beachside Highway 1. Many of the park's 182 spaces are located right along the coastline, providing guests with one of the most scenic RV parks in the area.
Dogs are welcome, and a dog run is provided. Guests are also invited to enjoy the park's hot tub, swimming pool, showers, free cable TV, game arcade and playground. Wi-Fi is available on all sites, and a convenience store on site can sell you propane.
