The San Francisco Bay Area is one of the most ecologically diverse spots in all of California. Visitors can enjoy ocean views, redwood forests, rolling hills, farm lands, chaparrals and more. There's no better way to explore this beauty than by taking the RV out to the local RV parks and enjoying the array of ecosystems available in the area.

Half Moon Bay is only about a half hour away from Downtown San Francisco, but this tiny waterside community, set amongst redwood and cedar forests, seems hours away from the hustle and bustle of such a major metropolitan city. When staying at the Pillar Point RV Park, enjoy the harbor beside the resort or take a trek on the six-mile long trail that extends to the center of the town. Whale watching tours depart from the harbor daily and boats are available for rent if you prefer to fish on the quiet bay.
Wi-Fi is available and pets are welcome. If you are coming over the weekend, try to show up early as the park does not accept reservations. There are few showers available and no propane for sale, so although long-term stays are offered, a short vacation is generally more advisable.

Trailer Villa RV Park

Located a few miles south of Half Moon Bay is Redwood City, a lovely area that is, needless to say, filled with lush redwood forests. Like Half Moon Bay, the area offers stunning views of the water and wonderful hiking and biking trails.
A number of improvements to the park's Wi-Fi, plumbing and electrical systems in 2009 brought the previously outdated Trailer Villa RV Park into the current century. Now the park features all the amenities you could hope for in a modern trailer park, including a full bathhouse, cable TV hookups, telephone hookups, multiple laundry rooms, a gym, picnic tables, and a mini-library. Propane is available for purchase.

Marin Park

The Marin RV Park is located in the small, affluent North Bay town of Greenbrae. While this Marin community and its neighboring areas are all beautiful, if you wish to visit San Francisco, busses and ferries are offered throughout the day.
All 87 sites offer full hookups, including cable and Wi-Fi access. A heated pool is open seasonally. Laundry mats and showers are available and guests are invited to purchase any necessary supplies, including propane, from the park's convenience store.
