Odessa, Texas, is a city on the plains of the western part of the state. Oil production is a mainstay of the economy in Odessa. The area has many opportunities for outdoor recreation, including horseback riding, road bicycling, and fishing. Big Bend National Park is a three hour drive from Odessa. There are 72 RV sites at Baron Mobile Estates and RV Park that can accommodate most RV sizes. Water, sewer, 20-, 30-, or 50-amp electric and cable hookups come with each site. Pets are welcome. Monthly, weekly, daily and seasonal rates are offered to guests staying at the park. There are hot showers, bathrooms, laundry facilities and picnic tables for use at Baron Mobile Estates and RV Park. Consavvy Lake is within an hour's drive from the park and offers fishing, canoeing and kayaking.

Guests staying at the Midland RV Park have easy access to many national and state parks. Within a three hour drive are the Guadalupe Mountains National Park, Carlsbad Caverns National Park, Big Bend National Park, and Roswell, New Mexico.
