Brown's Landing
Brown's Landing is an RV campground with 350 feet of sandy beach along Lake Huron. This park is open seasonally from May 1 to October 31 as of 2010. The sites are grass with concrete patios and feature water, electric and cable TV hookups. Tents are not permitted at the park but RVs, trailers and pop-ups are welcome. Chartered fishing trips and boat excursions to the nearby Miss Charity Isle leave daily from the park. Guests who would like to participate are advised to bring along a valid Michigan fishing license, fishing pole, warm clothing and pails to store bait and fish.

East Tawas City Park
The East Tawas City Park has a 174-site campground for tents and RVs up to 37 feet long. Each of the campsites features picnic tables and full hookups including water, electric, cable TV and sewage. Other amenities are restrooms and showers, a playground, a picnic area, horseshoe pits and a 1600-foot stretch of beach along Lake Huron. A boat launch, fishing pier and a paved bicycle trail are also within the park. Open May through October.

Tawas Point State Park
Tawas Point State Park has a 193-site campground with electric hookups, restrooms and a playground. The 183-acre park offers visitors two miles of hiking or cross-country skiing trials and a 68-mile auto trail featuring historical monuments and picnic areas. Other attractions include a lighthouse on Tawas Bay, children's playground and sandy beach. Fishing is permitted in the park, and popular catches consist of walleye, perch, pike and small mouth bass.
