Swanson Park Action Center
Operated by the City of Albany, the Swanson Park Action Center was completed in 2005, built on the site of the city's original 1939 public pool. The new aquatic park features a 5,000-square-foot swimming pool and an adjacent shallow pool for younger children with water games and geysers. There is a 22-foot-high water slide, a deep water area for adults, a winding river for floating in tubes, and an expansive lounging area with chaises and chairs for sunbathers. Dubbed the COOL!Pool, the facility can accommodate 450 people and there is a rental room for parties. In the late afternoon and evenings, the entire pool is also available to rent on an hourly basis. Swimming lessons for all ages, exercise classes in the float river, and toddler-parent classes are offered daily during the summer season.

Osborn Aquatic Center
With the 2009 closing of Albany's popular Takena Park Wading Pool, one of only three outdoor pools in the city, parents and children have migrated to Benton County's Osborn Aquatic Center, just eight miles south. Osborn features a large leisure pool with several water jet features, a splash down area for the water slide and a handicapped-accessible faux beach entrance. The centerpiece of the pool is a five foot wide circular fountain with regulated spray jets. Next to the water park area is an 82-foot long lap pool with seven lanes, a basketball hoop and a motorized aquatic handicap lift.
