RV Campsites in the Area of St. Joe, Idaho
St. Joe, Idaho, is a small area located about 100 miles from Spokane, Washington, in the northern part of the state. Several recreation areas and lakes are in the surrounding communities such as Coeur d'Alene Lake, St. Joe National Forest and the St. Joe River. Coeur d' Alene Forest National Forest is also a short drive away. RV parks are located in the area giving you a choice of accommodations near your destination.

Big Creek Campground

Big Creek Campground is located in Calder, east of St. Joe, Idaho. Recreation on the property includes several hiking trails, fishing in Big Creek, hunting, horseback riding and picking berries. There are limited camp amenities such as restrooms and drinking water. Sites come with water hookups. Tent sites are also available.

Heyburn State Park

Heyburn State Park is to the west of St. Joe in Plummer, Idaho. On-site recreation includes horseback riding, cross-country skiing, hiking, fishing and boating. The park has many features such as bathhouses, restrooms, dump station, picnic shelters, park store and boat ramps. Sites at the campground come equipped with full hookups. Tent camping also is allowed, and there are a few cottages in the park as well.

Shadowy Saint Joe Campground

Shadowy Saint Joe Campground is located northwest of St. Joe, Idaho, in Saint, Maries. Next to the St. Joe River, recreation at the campground includes fishing, boating and skiing. Several amenities help make your stay more entertaining such as a boat ramp, picnic sites and pavilion for group gatherings. Sites include picnic tables. There are no hookups at this site.
