Waterloo, Iowa is located near the mighty Mississippi River. The Cedar River runs through Waterloo. Guttenberg RV Park has sites for most RV sizes. There are pull-through and back-in sites. All sites have either 30- or 50-amp electric, water, sewer and cable TV connections.Wi-Fi is available. Pets are allowed if leashed. Bathrooms and showers, a laundry room, guest room, playground, barbecue stations and picnic tables are available for guest use. Mountain bikers can drive the 40 miles to Cedar City and ride the Cader Valley Nature Trail. Kayakers and canoeists can paddle the Cedar River.

Morwood Campground and Resort

Morwood Campground and Resort offers guests RV sites with 30- or 50-amp electric, water, and sewer connections. RVs of most sizes are accepted as there are pull-through and back-in sites. Guests may use the bathrooms, showers, picnicking facilities and laundry room. Pets are allowed if leashed. Morwood requires a two-night minimum stay on weekends and during holidays. Nearby Fontana Park (10 miles away) has trails for hiking,mountain biking and areas to bird-watch. There is an Amish community within 10 miles where visitors can shop for locally made crafts and food.

Lazy Acres RV Park

Lazy Acres RV Park can accommodate RVs to 90 feet in length with sites that have pull-through clearance up to 110 feet. Slide-out equipped RVs are no problem for the Lazy Acres sites. Hookups include 30- or 50-amp electric, water and sewer. Private toilets, showers, picnic tables, barbecue stations, laundry room, guest room and a dump station are available for guest use. Pets are allowed if leashed. Guests can drive to nearby George Wyth State Park where there are hiking and mountain biking trails, and opportunities for bird-watching and wlidlife observation.
