North Phoenix RV Park
Located northwest of Avondale, right off Interstate 17, the North Phoenix RV Park welcomes campers year-round. It has views across the city with the mountains towering behind it, but the campground itself is in a quiet setting. The RV hookups include 30 or 50 amp electricity, sewer, water, and cable TV, and there is a convenience store onsite where you can pick up any necessities you may have forgotten. The North Phoenix RV Park has a swimming pool and heated spa, as well as a recreation room with a pool table, horseshoe pits and a big screen TV. The campground it divided into an adult park and a family park, so you'll find an area geared to you, no matter who is traveling with you.

Desert Shadows RV Park
Desert Shadows RV Park is a large campground a few miles northwest of Avondale. The 638 sites they have are for short- or long-term stays, and they also have permanent houses within the park. You'll be close to many area attractions here, from baseball spring training camps to Cardinals Stadium, but with all of the park's amenities you may never want to leave. Besides the usual full hookup sites that come with electric, sewer, water, and cable, you'll find an indoor pool and Jacuzzi, eight billiards tables, horseshoes, Bocci ball, shuffleboard and an exercise facility that includes an indoor walking track. There is a golf batting cage, as well as organized golf trips, and there's even a social activities director who plans games, dances and potluck throughout the year.

Desert's Edge RV Village
A short drive up Highway 101 from Avondale will bring you to the Desert's Edge RV Village that calls itself "the Purple Park" for its bright, whimsical color scheme. The campground caters to both travelers passing through and long-term guests relocating to the area, and the RV sites include full hookups. Here you'll find an indoor heated pool and spa, a playground for the kids, a basketball court, a fitness room with a variety of machines, and an area with video games and billiard. Up to two friendly pets per site are welcome at the Desert's Edge RV Village, and there are even pet grooming stations located throughout the park. Join in with fellow guests for organized hikes, water exercise classes, or weekly social hours and game nights.
