Riverside RV Resort and Campground Facilities
This resort has cozy log cabins, RV sites and tent sites, with 101 sites in all. A typical site width measures 32 feet and 67 of the sites offer full hookups with 30/50-amp electric; 34 of the sites do not have hookups, and 14 are pull-throughs. There is a shower facility with heated floors, laundry, dump station, LP bottle exchange, picnic tables, patios, fire rings and grills. There are also RV supplies and basic groceries sold on site. WiFi Internet is available at some sites and cable TV hookups are available at some sites for an extra charge. There is partial handicap access. Rates are based on two people per site. Discounted and long-term rates are available, as are RV and ski packages.
Riverside Recreation
This resort is located in central Whistler making it a good base from which to pursue daily outdoor adventures in this beautiful landscape. At the campground there is a recreation hall, pavilion, coin games, bike rentals, playground, horseshoes, volleyball, sports field, putting green, river swimming, river fishing and fishing guides. Nearby is an 18-hole professional golf course, hiking trails, and local tours including river rafting, horseback riding, and glacier tours. There are also nearby venues for snowboarding and skiing, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, skateboarding, rollerblading, mountain biking and shopping.
Riverside Regulations
Like all respectable campgrounds, this one also has some rules and regulations. Pets are welcome with an additional fee, and as long as they are leashed, kept out of the beach and playground, and are cleaned up after. Speed limit is 5 miles per hour (8 kph) and unlicensed vehicles are not permitted. Big rigs are welcome and clubs are welcome. Quiet hours are observed between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m. and generator use is not allowed. Campfires are permitted between 7 a.m. and 11 p.m. and firewood is to be purchased from their store as cutting of trees, shrubs or branches is not permitted. Alcohol is only permitted at your campsite or cabin.
