North Conway is a small, picturesque town in Carroll County, New Hampshire with a resident population of little more than 2,000 people (according to the U.S. Census Bureau). Farm by the River Bed & Breakfast

Guests are able to take a trip back in time to a simpler era in this romantic, nine-room bed and breakfast nestled on 70 acres at the base of the White Mountains. The hotel has a stable of 24 horses and offers horseback riding, pony rides, hay rides and old-fashioned Victorian sleigh rides all year-round. This secluded, 10-room lodge is actually a turn-of-the-century mansion that sits on 33 lush acres and provides the perfect romantic fantasy vacation for those looking to get away from it all. On-site recreational activities range from cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and snowtubing in the winter to an outdoor swimming pool, Jacuzzi, tennis and countryside hiking trails in the summer. The lodge also has a library-style lounge with enormous stone fireplace and a gourmet restaurant serving fresh, local fare for both breakfast and dinner.
