The Carnival Cruise offers a seven-day Eastern Caribbean cruise leaving from Galveston to Nassau, Bahamas, Freeport and Key West, Florida. This cruise is aboard the Carnival Conquest ship, which offers a massive 13 decks, weighs 110,000 tons and can carry 3,000 passengers. This cruise offers opportunities for watching news and movies on a huge LED television screen at the top of the ship's deck. The sun deck offers a nine-hole miniature golf course and there is a padded jogging trail. Fine and casual dining is easy to find on board, including The Point Steakhouse and Cezanne's. Royal Caribbean--Western Caribbean
The Royal Caribbean offers a seven-night Western Caribbean Cruise out of Galveston. The ship is the Voyager of the Seas, which can carry 3,110 passengers and weighs 138,000 tons. The cruise heads to Roatan, Honduras, Belize City, Belize and Cozumel, Mexico. Aboard, you'll find an ice-skating rink, rock-climbing wall, golf simulators, miniature golf, day spa and fitness center. There are numerous restaurants including Johnny Rockets and Portofino Italian Restaurant. As of January 2010, prices began at $599, which included room, meals and most entertainment.
