Restaurants in Harlem, New York City
The historic Harlem area of New York City is home to some of the finest African American "Soul Food" in the United States. During the day, explore this area by retracing the steps of the civil rights movement, walk through Hamilton Heights and the Sugar Hill neighborhoods to see some of the historic homes of famous Harlem residents; such as Count Basie, Malcom X and Ralph Ellison, or catch some sun rays in one of Harlem's beautiful parks. After working up an appetite, dine in one of Harlem's famous eateries, then enjoy the Harlem music scene featuring jazz and Spanish salsa.
