St. Albert, Alberta, is a suburb of Edmonton in the northern portion of the province. The Sturgeon River runs through St. Albert, offering fishing, canoeing and kayaking. Hiking and mountain biking trails can be found in the surrounding region. Urban attractions around St. Albert include the outdoor farmers market every Saturday between May and October and the West Edmonton Mall, which claims to be North America's biggest mall.

The Kinsmen Club of St. Albert

The Kinsmen RV Park has sites for both large and small RVs and water, sewer and 50-amp electric hookups. There are picnic tables, barbecue stations, bathrooms and hot showers. Pets are allowed if leashed. The Kinsmen is open seasonally between April and September. Lois Hole Centennial Provincial Park and Red Willow Park are within 30 minutes of the Kinsmen and visitors to the park will find hiking and mountain trails for use.

Shaker's Acres RV Park

Shaker's Acres has pull-through and back-in sites for most RV sizes, and is within five miles of St. Albert. Hookups include 30- or 50-amp electric, water, sewer and cable TV. There is Wi-Fi for guest use and pets are welcome. Bathrooms, showers, a laundry room, dump station, fire pits with firewood (for purchase) and a dump station are on the premises. The nearby Sturgeon River has opportunities for kayak-touring, canoeing and fishing.

Morinville RV Park and Campground

Morinville RV Park and Campground is located on Heritage Lake, a 15-minute drive from St. Albert. The park is a small, family-run campground where large and small RVs can be handled with either pull-through or back-in sites. Hookups include water, sewer, Wi-Fi and 30-amp electric. Pets are allowed. There are bathrooms and showers, picnic tables and grills, a dump station and a laundry room on the grounds. Anglers can try their luck on Heritage Lake. Multi-use trails can be found in neighboring Edmonton.
