Located a short drive from the base of the Wasatch Mountains, Ogden provides many recreational opportunities for both adrenalin junkies and those who just want to stay fit. Climb rocky crags, mountain bike or hike to top of the mountain range. You can even surf indoors at the Salomon Center. RV campgrounds in and near Ogden provide quick access to the best of the Ogden areas outdoor activities.

Century RV Park and Campground

Open year round and just west of Ogden, Century RV Park and Campground has 20 50-amp pull-through sites. Spend the day at the pool at the campground, or hike or run the trail at Cold Water Canyon, which is less than 20 minutes away. The Ogden River Parkway provides an easy bike ride.

The park can accommodate RVs up to 70 feet in length. Clean drinking water, full bathrooms with showers and laundry, and a dumping station are available. Sites come with a picnic table and guests can enjoy wireless Internet and cable television. Pets are allowed at this campground. The grocery store has ice, food and any extras you may need.

Lagoon Park

Open from the end of April through mid-October, Lagoon Park has full hook-up pull-through sites and back-in sites with electricity, water and sewer. The Lagoon Trail starts at the campground for walking, running or biking. Guests get a discounted rate into the amusement and water ride park on site.

Full restrooms, showers and laundry are on site.There is a general store for any last-minute items and a gourmet ice cream and a sandwich shop at the park if you don't feel like cooking out or need a little dessert. Each site has a picnic table and pets are allowed for RV guests. Daily and weekly rates as well as reservations are available.

Cherry Hill Campground

Cherry Hill Campground in Kaysville, Utah is 15 miles from Ogden and can accommodate RV lengths of 40 feet. On-site recreation opportunities include rock climbing, swimming at the water park, and aeroball and batting cages. Bike or walk the Rail Trail, starting in town. A path at Barton Ponds Park is a three to five minute drive away.

Most RV sites have 30-amp full hook-ups while a few have 50-amp hook-ups with shade. RV campers have usage of a dump station. Bathrooms and showers are on site. Some winter camping is available, but from April 1 to Nov. 1 you can find full camp services. Nightly, weekly and monthly rates are available.
