Pentwater, West Michigan Campsites & RV Parks
Pentwater is located on the western edge of Michigan and has miles of white sand Lake Michigan beachfront along with a quaint downtown business district. You will find several campgrounds within 2 miles of downtown that feature activities including fishing in the Pentwater River, forest hiking trails and private fishing ponds.

River Farm Campground

River Farm Campground is located just a mile outside downtown Pentwater. It has 30 acres on the Pentwater River and offers full hookup and rustic camp sites that include picnic tables and fire rings. Facility amenities include modern restrooms with private showers, a pavilion for gatherings, playground and volleyball and basketball courts. The property is heavily wooded and you will find several hiking trails that run throughout the tract. River Farm Campground allows guests to fish in the Pentwater River or its own stock fishing pond, which is catch-and-release only.

Hill and Hollow Campground

Hill and Hollow Campground is located 2 miles north of Pentwater on US 31 and offers over 200 campsites. Sites have varying amenities that range from full hookups to rustic. Each site includes free wireless Internet, picnic table and fire ring. Facility amenities include modern restrooms with private showers, laundry room and a cafe that is open for breakfast and lunch. There are many recreational activities available at the campground's two outdoor swimming pools, and AJ's Family fun center has miniature golf, an arcade and go-karts nearby.

Charles Mears State Park

Charles Mears State Park is adjacent to downtown Pentwater and has 50 acres bordering Lake Michigan. It offers a 175 site modern campground that has electric hookups, a central water filling station and modern restrooms with private showers. Facility amenities include a picnic shelter, concession stand and playground as well as a lighthouse. The park has a large sandy beach area for guests who want to swim and sunbathe. A swimming pier that can also be used for fishing is available as well. The park adjoins the Pentwater River channel, so you will find quality fishing for salmon, steelhead and lake trout.
