Ross Barnett Resevoir, Timberlake Campground

Timberlake Campground is a 14-minute drive from the center of Jackson. There are 221 campsites. Full hookups include 50-amp service and Wi-Fi. The campground has restrooms, showers, laundry facilities, grills, picnic tables, a tennis court and pool. The campground sits on Ross R. Barnett Reservoir, where visitors are welcome to windsurf, sail or fish. Landlubbers will find a series of gentle walking and cycling paths to choose from.

Movietown RV Park

Movietown RV PARK is a 30-minute drive from Jackson. Drivers will find there are 120 sites. Full hookups are offered including 50-amp service, modem and Wi-Fi. The park has bathrooms, showers, laundry room and playground. Pets are welcome. Drivers choose their own spot after check-in. The park is a 30-minute drive from the Pearl River State Wildlife Management Area, a worthy choice for those seeking to spot area residents such as alligators, opossums, bobcats and woodcock.
