Economy Inn and RV Park

Guests at the Economy Inn and RV Park will enjoy campsites with electric, water and cable hook-up. This park is pet friendly to dogs that are vaccinated an on a leash. Nearby the RV park visitors will find the Caverns of Sonora. This display of rock formations through the years is an educational experience for people of all ages. For those that enjoy exciting bass fishing there is Del Rio, which also features canoeing, kayaking and boating. Those with scuba diving certificates can explore the natural coves and harbors that exist in the depths of this body of water. Hiking and mountain biking trails are available at the Balmonea State Park which is located approximately 20 miles from Economy Inn and RV Park. Wildlife observation can be seen at the McDonald Observatory. For a day trip, guests can visit additional hiking and biking trails in the area located at Seminole Canyon State Park and Historic Site.

X Bar Ranch

For visitors looking for more seclusion in their camping site, there is the X Bar Ranch. This ranch features campsites with water and electric hook- up. The main house at X Bar Ranch features a swimming pool, recreational area and wireless Internet for a small fee. Campsites offer a bathhouse and an observing field area. The ranch also features 16 miles of hiking and mountain biking trails. At night, guests can enjoy the broad Texas sky with all of its starry glory in the observation field. Seasonal turkey and dove hunts are also available for guest at the X Bar Ranch. Step back in time and visit the historic Eldorado township located just outside the park. Guests will find antique shops, diners and restored old buildings here.
