The marina--on Lake Eustis, an active alligator habitat--has a boat ramp and kayak and skiff rentals. Boaters can travel great distances from this area as Lake Griffin, Yale, Eustus, Harris and Dora are all connected. For the really adventurous, boaters can reach the Atlantic Ocean via a waterway leading sailors from Lake Griffin to the Ocklawaha and St. Johns Rivers and finally to the sea past Jacksonville.
