The park also has a dog walk and a dump station,and offers propane sales and a restaurant. Those who like to fish should note that this park sits 500 feet from Lake Denham, known for its largemouth bass population.

Lake Deaton RV Park

Lake Deaton RV Park is a 20-minute drive from Okahumpka, and has 81 sites with full hookups and Wi-Fi. The park has a boat ramp and dock, bathrooms, showers, laundry room, recreation hall and a screen hall. The park is on the shore of Lake Deaton, and bird watchers regularly spot egrets and great blue herons on the property.

Footloose RV Resort and Marina

The Footloose Resort and Marina is a 27-minute drive from Okahumpka. There are10 sites with full hookups, including Wi-Fi. The resort has bathrooms, showers and laundry facilities. The marina--on Lake Eustis, an active alligator habitat--has a boat ramp and kayak and skiff rentals. Boaters can travel great distances from this area as Lake Griffin, Yale, Eustus, Harris and Dora are all connected. For the really adventurous, boaters can reach the Atlantic Ocean via a waterway leading sailors from Lake Griffin to the Ocklawaha and St. Johns Rivers and finally to the sea past Jacksonville.
