The resort sits 2 miles from Casa Grande Ruins National Monument, where visitors can stretch their legs after a long drive while viewing ruins dating back to 1350 AD.

Campground Buena Tierra is an 18-minute drive from Eloy. The campground offers 136 back-in and pull-through sites. Full hookups are available, including 50-amp electric, modem and Wi-Fi. The campground has tent sites, bocce and volleyball courts, a recreation hall, fire pits, laundry room, picnic area, livestock corrals, horse facilities, LP gas, convenience store, bathrooms and showers. Pets are welcome. The Casa Grande Mountain Park is an 11-minute drive away and good for hiking and biking. The campground rents bikes for free.
