Wentworth Mansion
Built as an opulent private residence during the gilded age of the late 1880s, this mansion now serves as a hotel in the heart of downtown Charleston. The hotel's interior is elaborately constructed with hand-carved marble fireplaces, intricate woodwork and Tiffany stained-glass windows. The mansion is about two hours south of Florence.
