Breton is a small village located about an hour and 45 minutes from Edmonton, in central Alberta. The central Alberta region offers excellent outdoor recreational activities such as camping, fishing, swimming and horseback riding. Cross-country skiing and skating are popular winter activities. Breton is near Buck Lake and Drayton Valley, a city that sits along the well-known "Cowboy Trail". Jasper National Park is near Drayton Valley and offers plenty of hiking and biking trails.

The Big T Motel is located about one kilometer north of Breton on Highway 20. The motel is adjoined to the Big T Restaurant. A nine-hole golf course with a driving range is also on the Big T premises.

Buck-A-Boo Acres

Buck-A-Boo Acres is located about 30 minutes north of Breton, in nearby Warburg. Guests at Buck-A-Boo Acres stay in the heart of pristine nature, where deer and moose often feed in the meadows. At night, the Northern Lights can be observed in the big sky above. Bird enthusiasts will not be disappointed with the diversity of bird species found in this region. There is a fully-equipped kitchen and barbecue pits on the premises. Pets are not allowed at Buck-A-Boo Acres.
