Bainbridge, Georgia Campgrounds
Bainbridge is located in Decatur County, Georgia, and is known as an historic and waterfront area with excellent fishing. Bass tournaments are held in Bainbridge throughout the year. Its surrounding area of rivers, lakes and forests also provide other recreational opportunities such as boating, hunting, camping and many other water sports. Local attractions include historic downtown Bainbridge, Flint River and Lake Seminole. Many campgrounds with easy boating and fishing access are available in the area.

Bainbridge / Flint River KOA

This KOA campground accommodates tent sites and RV sites. Campers can access the paved boat ramps near the campground (less than 5 minutes away) to get to the Flint River and Lake Seminole for water activities. Amenities include wireless Internet access, laundry facilities, fire rings, firewood supply, bath and shower facilities, miniature golf, horseshoes and camper or boat storage. RV sites have full hookups with 50-amp service. Aside from boating and fishing, activities at the lake include water-skiing, tubing and wakeboarding.

Wingate's Lodge

Located on Lake Seminole, this campground has accommodations for log cabins, tent sites and RV sites. Log cabins sleep up to four with amenities such as cable TV, air-conditioning and heat. Tent sites can be primitive or with electric and water hookups. RV sites are full hookups with 30- and 50-amp service. Campers can expect to catch different types of fishes at the lake such as bass, crappie, white bass and hybrid and stripers. There is also a full-service marina, restaurant and two double launching boat ramps at Wingate's Lodge.

East Bank Campground

Eastbank Campground offers 75 campsites, some with water and 30- and 50-amp electric hookups. Tent sites and RV sites are available with amenities such as laundry facilities, boat ramp, dock, picnic tables, shower facilities, horseshoe pit and volleyball courts. Aside from boating and fishing, there is a nature trail on site for hiking.
