Lake Palestine is a 22,000-acre lake near Tyler, Texas. Visitors to the lake, which is a tributary of the Neches River, can drop a fishing line in the waters to try for bass, crappie, bluegill and catfish. Big Steve's offers tenting sites, as well as pull-through and back-in sites for RVs. Tent sites have fire pits with grills and picnic tables. RV sites come with either 30- or 50-amp electric, water, and sewer hookups. Pets are allowed at Big Steve's. All guests can use the showers, bathrooms, laundry room, playground and boat ramps.
