RV campers should head over to Red Top Mountain State Park and Lodge (a 30-minute drive) where they'll find many miles of hiking trails--including one to the summit of Red Top Mountain.

Atlanta Marietta RV Resort Park

Atlanta Marietta RV Resort Park (formerly Brookwood RV Park) is situated in Marietta, a town about 20 minutes due south of Woodstock. This park offers RV campers the following amenities: 20-, 30-, and 50-amp electrical service, full hookups, free wireless Internet, free cable TV and paved RV pads. The resort also has laundry facilities and a seasonal pool. Hikers have several options including Al Burruss Nature Park (a 5-minute drive) and Sibley Forest (a 15-minute drive), both of which have several miles of nature walks and hiking trails.

Cartersville KOA

This KOA (Kampground of America, a national chain of campgrounds) is located in Cartersville--a town about 30 minutes northwest of Woodstock. This KOA offers the following amenities for RV campers: 75-foot long RV sites (large enough for big rigs), full hookups, 30- and 50-amp service sites, free cable TV, free wireless Internet and a community kitchen. The RV park is located 2 hours southwest of the Chatahoochee National Forest where hikers will find many miles of hiking trails--including the Beasley Knob Trail and the Houston Valley Trail system.
