RV Parks in Land O Lakes, Florida

RV Parks in Land O Lakes, Florida
Florida's Land O' Lakes is appropriately named, as it is surrounded by mile after mile of marshes, creeks, lakes and ponds. In and of itself, that implies plenty of opportunities for RV campers who love the outdoors to pursue fishing and birding, but there is even more beyond that. Right outside of town are wildlife areas like the Connor Preserve and Starkey Wilderness Area, with hiking and yet more nature watching. RV campers will find that the RV parks in Land O' Lakes offer them convenient access to plenty of outdoor activities.

The Woods RV Park

The Woods is an RV park with a twist, because it is also a nudist campground. It is primarily an RV park based on privately-owned lots, rather than rentals for travelers, but there are dedicated rental sites available. All sites have full hookups, cable TV connections and Internet access. The park's amenities include a clubhouse, spa, two swimming pools and a storage facility. The Land O' Lakes location means that Wood's RV Park is right in the middle of countless ponds, lakes and streams, with numerous opportunities for fishing and bird-watching.

Free Wi-Fi is available through most of the property, and among the park's other amenities are an outdoor swimming pool, courts for shuffleboard and horseshoes, a dog-walking area and three private ponds. They do accept pets, but there is a limit of one dog or cat that must be 35 lbs. or less, and this pet must be leashed at all times when outdoors.
