Givhans Ferry State Park
The campground at Givhan's Ferry State Park offers sites for tent campers as well as RVs. Tent sites have fire rings and picnic tables. All sites have water and 30-amp electrical connections; some sites accommodate RVs to 40 feet long. Amenities include a dump station, hot showers and toilets. Pets are allowed but must be leashed at all times. There are hiking and biking trails in the park. Bird watchers will spot many species of native birds as well as migratory species that frequent the area.

Cypress View Campground
Another option for visitors to the St. George region is the Santee State Park Cypress View Campground. Like Givhan's Ferry, Santee State Park offers sites for tent and RV campers. Sites are sand-packed, and have picnic tables, fire rings, water and electric hookups. All guests may use the showers and toilets. Pets are allowed but must be leashed. There is a 7.5 mile mountain biking trail in the park, as well as a one-mile long nature trail.

Santee Lakes Campground
Visitors to the St. George area seeking a private campground will find it at Santee Lakes Campground, which offers sites for tent and RV campers. Sites have picnic tables, fire pits and fresh water spigots. RV sites have water, sewer, 30- or 50-amp electric, and options for cable TV. Pets are allowed if leashed. All guests may use the bathrooms and showers, laundry room, and barbecue area. Lake Marion provides opportunities for kayaking, canoeing, swimming and fishing.
