Collins Lake
The campground at Collins Lake has sites for tent campers and RV travelers. Sites have picnic tables, fire rings and full hookups. There are options for cable TV and Wi-Fi connections. Facilities include showers, bathrooms, a laundry room, a guest room, marina, boat rentals, playground and general store. Pets are allowed. The lake is stocked each year with 50,000 trout. Several trails for hiking and biking lead out of the campground. The six-mile Shingle Falls Trail is nearby and takes hikers through red and black rock to the Shingle Falls.

Plumas National Forest Campgrounds
Visitors to the Collins Lake area will find several campgrounds in the Plumas National Forest. Plumas offers front-country tent sites, RV sites and hike-in backcountry sites. Front-country tent sites have picnic tables and fire pits. RV sites have partial hookups, depending on the campground. Front-country campgrounds have either pit toilets or vaulted toilets, and some offer showers. Front-country and RV campgrounds have fresh water spigots for drinking and cooking water. Visitors heading into the backcountry campsites need to register with the ranger office. Pets are allowed if leashed in public areas and trails.

Sycamore Ranch RV Park
Sycamore Ranch RV Park, surrounded by two creeks, offers sites for tents and RVs. The tent sites are level and grassy with picnic tables and fire rings. RV sites can handle most size RVs and have water, sewer, and either 30- or 50-amp electric hookups. Pets are welcome. All guests may use the showers, bathrooms, club house, country store and fresh water taps.
