Founded during the construction of the Great Northern Railway, Minot is located in northcentral North Dakota. Known as the "Magic City," it is home to Minot Air Force Base housing the 5th Bomb Wing and the 91st Space Wing of the U.S. Air Force. Visitors can enjoy Roosevelt Park and Zoo, which features a swimming pool, waterslide, and the zoo's 200 animals and petting area. Golfing, hiking, biking, snowmobiling and birdwatching at any of the area's five National Wildlife Refuges are popular activities. When traveling to Minot, there are a number of RV parks in the area from which to choose.

Minot KOA

Located approximately 2.5 miles southeast of Minot, the Minot KOA offers 38 sites with 30- or 50-amp full hookups and can accommodate RVs up to 95 feet in large pull-throughs. It features free Wi-Fi Internet and restrooms with showers, and it allows pets. Tent sites are also available. The campground is situated in a rural setting surrounded by rolling hills and trees; biking and golfing area courses are popular activities.

Swenson's Valley View RV Park

Located adjacent to Swenson's RV dealership, the RV Park has 80 sites with 30- or 50-amp full hookups. It features restrooms with showers, laundry facilities, a recreation room and Wi-Fi Internet, and it welcomes pets. The park is located close to downtown Minot and is just a short drive to Roosevelt Park and Zoo.

Casa Motel & RV Park

Casa Motel & RV Park is located on U.S. 52 southeast of Minot and has 14 sites with 30-amp full hookups. It features restrooms with showers, laundry facilities, cable TV, Wi-Fi Internet, and an on-site gift shop. The park is a short drive to Roosevelt Park and Zoo and downtown Minot.
