Brookfield, Ohio RV Parks

Brookfield is located in north-central Ohio, about 30 miles north of Youngstown and an hour and a half northeast of Cleveland. This town is surrounded by a variety of outdoor recreation areas, including the Mosquito Creek Wilderness Area, Grand River State Wildlife Area, and the Shenango Wilderness Area. There are several RV sites located in and around Brookfield.

Hubbard's Haven Family Campground

Hubbard's Haven Family Campground is located in Hubbard, just five minutes north of Brookfield. The RV spaces include full hook-ups with 50-amp electric. The park also has a swimming pool, a pavilion for picnicking, a playground, and a basketball court. Prince Field is 15 minutes west of Hubbard's Haven, on the shore of Upper Girard Lake. Various hiking trails skirt the shore of the lake and fishing is allowed in some areas of the park.

Mercer KOA

Mercer KOA (Kampground of America, a national chain of campgrounds) is located in Mercer, Pennsylvania, about 30 minutes from Brookfield, just over the Pennsylvania border. This site offers RV campers free Wi-Fi, a basketball court and a swimming pool. There are seven RV sites with full hookups, cable TV, and 50- or 30-amp electric service. While the park itself has a short nature trail, hikers can take the 30-minute drive to Moraine State Park, where over 26 miles of trails skirt Lake Arthur and dip into the dense woods.

Shenango Valley RV Park

Shenango Valley RV Park is located in Transfer, Pennsylvania--which is a 30-minute ride from Brookfield. This RV park offers free wireless Internet, free cable TV, up to 50-amp electric service, and full hookups. In addition, the RV park has a playground, a pool, and a camp store filled with barbecuing and campfire necessities. A half-hour drive west will take the hardcore hikers to Shenango Wilderness Area where trails wind around the large lake and the old Erie Canal.
