Home to the Indy 500 and the Colts, Indianapolis is a hot spot for sports fans. There are several hotels within the suburbs of Indianapolis, making it easy to get in and out of the city. Whiteland, Indiana, is about 20 miles south of Indianapolis while Greenwood is about 15 miles south.
