This authentic Italian restaurant provides a low-key, casual atmosphere in which to enjoy your meal. Recipient of News 12 Long Island's award for Best Appetizers in 2006, O Sole Mio serves up an extensive list of Italian favorites like golden fried calamari, artichokes stuffed with breadcrumbs, pignoli nuts and grated cheese, and toasted garlic bread. You can choose from over half a dozen salads (Caesar, insalata caprese, baby spinach Gorgonzola) to which you can add shrimp or grilled chicken. Pasta dishes include classics like spaghetti Bolognese, pesto linguine, and pasta primavera, as well as more unusual offerings like butternut squash ravioli.
