Twin Lakes, Idaho is located in the northern part of the state on the panhandle. The town is nestled between the massive Coeur d'Alene National Forest to the east and Mt. Spokane State Park to the west. RV campers will find several RV parks in and around Twin Lakes. There are a variety of outdoor recreation opportunities here, both in national forests and city parks.

River Walk RV Park

River Walk RV Park, located 30 minutes south of Twin Lakes, has 40 RV sites with full hook-ups, and up to 50-amp service; all RV sites are 36-feet long. The park has Wi-Fi access, picnic areas, and is open year-round. To get your boots muddy, take the 30-minute drive to Coeur d'Alene National Forest where both summer and winter hiking opportunities exist, in addition to a variety of waterways--many of which can be rafted or canoed.

Blackwell Island RV Park

Blackwell Island RV Park is located on the shores of Cougar Bay, in the large Coeur d'Alene Lake. The park has 182 RV sites--142 of which are pull-through--that come with full hook-ups, up to 50-amp service, cable TV and wireless Internet. Amenities at the site include: laundry facilities, a general store, showers, and a recreation room. To escape the RV park, take the 45-minute drive west to Liberty Lake Regional Park where hiking trails abound.

Tamarack RV Park

Tamarack RV Park is located 30 minutes due south of Twin Lakes. This park offers visitors pull-through RV sites with full hook-ups (or limited hook-ups for a reduced cost), The sprawling Coeur d'Alene Lake is three miles south of the RV park. In addition, hikers can take the 40-minute drive north to Farragut State Park. This park offers primitive accommodations and rugged hiking trails on the outskirts of the Coeur d'Alene National Forest.
