Twin Lakes RV Park is located in Cumming, about a 30-minute drive from downtown Alpharetta. This site offers RV campers 130 sites on over 50 acres. Most sites come with full hook-ups, and some of the premium sites are on the shore. The park welcomes anglers and has horseshoes and picnic tables. Campers can take off on the nature trails circumnavigating the shore of the lake or take out a boat for recreation of fishing.

Atlanta Marietta RV Resort Park

The Atlanta Marietta RV Resort Park is about 30 minutes from Alpharetta's city limits. This resort has many RV sites, all with full hook-ups, free cable TV and wireless Internet, and 20/30/50 amp service. The resort includes a seasonal pool, paved sites and a patio for picnicking. Campers can take the 15-minute drive to Sibley Forest, a neighborhood and green space, and explore miles of trails through the woods and over creeks.

Stone Mountain Park Campground

Stone Mountain Park is an adventure theme park for families. There is, however, a fully equipped campground on the premises for primitive tenters and RVs alike. The 159 RV sites include full hookups, and 246 sites offer partial hookups; Amenities include free Wi-Fi, picnic tables, fire rings and a pool. There are also discounts for the theme park for campers.
