Cosby Campground
Cosby Campground is within the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. This four-loop campground has 157 sites, most of which are for tents only. The tent sites come both with or without electrical hookups, and every site has a tent pad, fire ring, barbecue grill and picnic table. The campground is serviced by centrally located bath houses, and it has access to hiking trails and horseback riding areas along Cosby Creek. Located about 5 miles south of Cosby, campers likely will find the grounds an uncrowded place to pitch their tent.

Great Smoky Jellystone Campground
The campground offers a mix of RV and tent sites. The tent campground is in a wooded area and separated from the RV area by a stream that cuts through the property, and offers a mix of 18 sites with either water and electrical hookups or no hookups at all. Its features two bathhouses, a coin laundry, miniature golf, a swimming pool and kiddie pool, game room, playground, free Wi-Fi access and a camp store with propane and firewood sales. Rental cabins also are available.

Adventure Bound Campground
The campground has a range of joint tent-RV campsites and tent-only sites. All of the tent-friendly sites come with water and electrical hookups, as well as fire rings and picnic tables. The main distinction among the tent sites is whether the site is alongside Webbs Creek, which runs through the campground. The campground's facilities include a camp store with propane sales and service buildings with bath houses and coin laundries. Other amenities include a swimming pool, courts for shuffleboard, volleyball, horseshoes and basketball, Internet access, a game room and a private trout-fishing pond.
