Somer's Dream RV Park
Somer's Dream RV Park is located right in the heart of Waynesville. This site provides RV campers with full hookups, cable TV, and free wireless Internet. The park is situated on the shores of Johnson Creek, a 30-foot wide stream that is filled with rainbow trout. Take the 40-minute drive to the entrance of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park; you'll be able to hike on the various side trails leading to Charlie's Bunion. Winngray Campground
Winngray Campground is another place for RV campers to bunk down while exploring the area around the Great Smoky Mountains. The RV campground offers full hookups, laundry facilities, showers, a general store, and a recreation room for social events and meetings. The campground is open year-round. Pisgah National Forest is just over an hour east of Winngray and offers trails, creeks, and rugged North Carolina mountains.
