This park offers RV campers full hookups, a dumping station, 30- and 50-amp service, a fully paved lot, cable TV and daily, weekly, and monthly rates. Pets are welcome at Holiday RV. While there are no showers available, water hookups allow RVers to use their rigs for this purpose. If campers are interested in exploring southern Texas, Brazos Co State Park is only 15 minutes away. This park has a variety of activities including biking and hiking trails, as well as fishing along the river.

Primrose Lake RV Park

Primrose Lane RV Park is 45 minutes from downtown Snook. This park offers a variety of amenities for RV campers including many large RV sites (some of which are pull-through capable), free cable TV and wireless Internet, showers, laundry and both 30- and 50-amp service. The sites are all shaded and come with full hookups, too. To get a taste of the outdoors here, take a 15-minute drive to Deer Trail, where campers can ride the trail or hike it. This trail offers great views of the twin lakes near Sandy Oaks.

Big Creek Resort Marina and Campground

Big Creek Marina is situated just northeast of Snook, about 20 minutes away. This resort caters to yachters and campers alike, and provides the following amenities for RV campers: a dumping station, 30 and 50 amp service, full hook-ups, large paved sites, as well as winter storage for RVs. Campers can get daily and monthly launch passes to gain access to the lake. Big Creek Marina is located only a few minutes from the main attraction in this part of Texas: Lame Somerville. Hikers can explore Big Creek State Park, Lake Somerville State Park and Trailway, or Nails Creek State Park, all of which offer many miles of hiking trails on the shore of the lake.
