Cascade Caverns
Cascade Caverns is located right in Boerne and offers a family friendly environment. The campground sits on a network of underground caves. There are several guided tours of the caves for kids and groups as well as educational programs about the local Native American history. The campground offers RV campers more than 100 RV sites with full hookups, wireless Internet, RV storage, a dumping station and an office where a telephone and fax are available. The Cibolo Nature Center--where kids and adults will find ample greenery and hiking trails--is only about 15 minutes from the campground.

Top of the Hill RV Resort
Also located right in Boerne is the Top of the Hill RV Resort. This site has 103 RV sites that offer full hookup service, free wireless Internet, a general store, laundry and shower facilities, and even cabins for rent for those who like the comfort of four walls. The park also has a pool and spa, a gym, and a large pavilion for picnicking and lunching. To get away from the RV resort, take the 30-minute drive to Guadalupe River State Park where hiking trails along the river abound, and where campers can cool off by going boating and rafting.
