The Space Center RV Park isl ocated 15 minutes south of downtown Webster. This site is close (within five minutes) to the Challenger 7 Memorial Park--an attraction commemorating the service of the astronauts killed in the Challenger 7 disaster in 1986. The park offers RV campers full hookups, laundry, wireless Internet, a free newspaper each morning and a pool. The park also has a store and an RV repair shop. To get away from the Space Center RV Park, take a 30-minute drive to the north side of Clear Lake and spend a day at Clear Lake Park--a primitive spot with many miles of trails crisscrossing the park.
