RV Parks Close to Hocking Hills, Ohio
The Hocking Hills region is located in southeast Ohio. The area is home to several parks, including Lake Hope State Park, offering many miles of mapped mountain bike trails. The RV parks and campgrounds nearby provide numerous unique outdoor activities and welcome families and pets.

Logan / Hocking Hills KOA

The KOA has both pull-through and back-in accommodations to fit RVs large and small. The shaded sites provide options up to and including full hookups. Guests can also select a deluxe site with a patio, gas grill and log swing. Pets are welcome to stay with RV campers and an off-leash pet area is provided for your pet. The park has a camp store, propane for sale and free Wi-Fi service. Several of the park's features have been reworked for 2010, including the laundry facility. Sample from the herb garden, join in the weekend activities or try the game room. Outdoors you can play basketball or tetherball, swim at the pool, go geocaching and mining for gems. At Hocking Hills State Park, Grandma Gatewood Trail is a 6-mile hike past caves and waterfalls. The park is less than 3 miles from the KOA. The Hocking Hills area also hosts an annual trail run and there are numerous trails available to run, hike and backpack.

Top O' The Caves

Top O' The Caves is a 60-acre park with both wooded and open sites provided. Sites are available with full hookups and each contains a picnic table and fire ring. The park advertises that lots of hot water is available at the two shower houses. A laundry area, dump station, camp store and gift shop are all offered on site. The park has a playground, swimming pool, mini-golf, arcade games and activities. Outdoor enthusiasts will appreciate the pond and several nature trails the camp has to offer--including the Buckeye Trail. Hikers can follow the trails to nearby caves and Cedar Falls.

Happy Hills Campground and Cabins

The 45-acre Happy Hills Campground has pull-through and back-in sites with full or partial hookups. The park offers free wireless Internet. The camp store has LP gas and firewood for sale. Pets are welcome to join the family. The Happy Hills Fun Park is new for 2010, with a skate park, bumper and pedal boats, Frisbee golf and a swimming pool. The park is adjacent to Wayne National Forest, where walking trails are available. At Earth, Water, Rock Outdoor Adventures--22 miles from Happy Hills--guests can participate in rock climbs, rappel rock faces, canoe and kayak. Guided trips and instruction are available. Hocking State Forest offers areas for climbing and rappelling just 13 miles from the campground.
