Winner's RV Park
Winner's RV Park is in the heart of Carolina Beach, just a few miles south of Wrightsville Beach. It offers 22 full hookup sites and is within walking distance of the beach and downtown. This family-owned park welcomes both long- and short-term stays. If you're an avid fisherman, there are charter boats just across from the RV park; the wide, sandy beaches of the Atlantic are one block further. Nearby Carolina Beach Boardwalk offers many entertainment and dining options, or you can head north to Wrightsville Beach.

Wilmington KOA
Five miles from Wrightsville Beach is the Wilmington KOA Campground, which offers RV and tent sites, as well as cabins and a lodge. All RV sites include free cable TV and electric hookups, and there is free Wi-Fi throughout the park. There's a playground for the kids, and if you have a pet with you, there is a fenced "Bark Park" in the campground. The KOA has a large pool that is open from May 1 through Oct. 1. Opportunities for biking, jogging, sailing, kayaking and fishing are available nearby.

Carolina Beach Family Campground
Carolina Beach Family Campground is family-oriented and open year-round. It offers full hookup sites as well as primitive sites for tents. Tall trees surround the campground, so many of the sites are shaded. Amenities include a seasonal swimming pool, bathhouses with hot showers, laundry facilities and a camp store. Walk across the street to the intracoastal waterway to fish, or head north to Wrightsville Beach for a variety of entertainment.
