Sun Runners RV Park
Sun Runners is located almost 10 miles from the beach, but it is still a good choice for tent campers in Gulf Shores because of its 23 tent campsites. It is also within walking distance of the headwaters of the Bon Secour River, with some access to area fishing. The lightly wooded park's camping facilities include a shower house and coin laundry.

Gulf Coast RV Park
This wooded RV park is situated within walking distance from the Bon Secour River and is less than 2 miles from Oyster Bay, an inland body of water connected to both the Bon Secour and a canal cutting across the Gulf Shores area. That gives it convenient access to the immediate area's fishing and boating opportunities. It is also roughly an 8-mile drive to the beach. Gulf Coast RV Park is exactly that, and all the campsites have hookups. While they do accept tent campers, it is at the same rate as for an RV or trailer. The camping facilities include a coin laundry and shower house.

Bay Breeze RV on the Bay
This RV Park is on Oyster Bay and, even though it is on the waterfront, it is not on the Gulf of Mexico. Even so, it is only a roughly 5-mile drive to the beach and well-placed for access to both Fort Morgan Road and Beach Boulevard. It is a small campground with only 25 RV sites, a trio of rental RVs, a single rental cottage and a small, shady pitch for tents. The RV park has its own private pier with a dock and sun deck, and its camping facilities include a coin laundry and shower house.
