Situated on the north bank of the Petitcodiac River, this Canadian maritime city is home to a variety of attractions, including the Acadian Museum, Magnetic Hill (with a city zoo and theme park) and the restored 1922 Capitol Theatre. Meander through leafy Centennial Park in the center of the city or walk the trails at Riverfront Park, where you can witness the tidal bore. On Saturdays, the Marche Moncton Market Complex buzzes with activities, as vendors set up their fresh produce, food and arts-and-crafts booths. There are several nearby beaches and golf courses. Fundy National Park, with the highest tidal fluctuations in the world, is just over an hour away.

Golf pros offer lessons throughout the summer. The campground has shady or open RV sites with full hookups and water and electric only sites. Electrical service is 15, 20, 30 and 50 amp, and there's free Wi-Fi. Amenities include an outdoor swimming pool, camp store, playground, guest laundry, dump station, picnic areas and fire pits. The campground is open mid-May through mid-October.

Camper's City RV Resort

This large RV park with 221 sites is located within the city, less than 10 minutes from downtown Moncton's top attractions, restaurants and shops. The campground has a swimming pool, recreational hall, camp store, guest laundry, bathhouse with hot showers and a playground. Campers can rent enclosed fire pits for nightly bonfires and barbecues. RV sites feature full hookups with 15-, 30- or 50-amp electrical service. The resort hosts a variety of summer events and programs, including arts and crafts, potluck dinners, dances, contests and more. The campground is open mid-May through mid-October.

Pine Ridge Campground

This modest RV campground off the Trans Canada Highway has open and shady, pull-through sites. Sites are available with no service, semi-service (water and electric) or full service (water, electric and sewer.) The resort has a dump station, playground, outdoor swimming pool, bathhouse with showers, guest laundry and a small camp store. The campground is minutes from Moncton's Magnetic Hill area. The campground is open May through October.
