Yreka, California, (pronounced why-REE-kah) is a mid-size town in Siskiyou County in the northern part of the state. Yreka is near three mountain ranges, the Cascades, the Siskiyous and the Marble Mountains. Visitors to Yreka can enjoy views of nearby Mount Shasta. The region has many opportunities for mountain biking, rock-climbing, bouldering, hiking, and backpacking. In winter, the region becomes a popular destination for telemark and alpine touring skiing. Several options for RV parks and campgrounds are available in the Yreka region.

Yreka RV Park

The Yreka RV Park has pull-through sites that can accommodate larger RVs as well as sites for mid- and small-size RVs. Hook-ups include water, sewer, 30- and 50-amp electric, and options for cable TV. Wi-Fi is available for those needing Internet connections. Pets are welcome if they remain leashed. Guests may use the bathrooms, showers laundry and guest room. There is river rafting and fishing at the nearby Klamath River. Hikers can find trails at Mount Shasta.

Quigley's General Store and RV Park

Visitors in the Yreka area looking for a country style general store will enjoy Quigley's. The general store is stocked with various sundries and cold beverages, and has an RV park. RV sites have water, sewer, and 30-amp electric hook-ups. There are showers private toilets, a laundry room, and picnic areas for guest use at Quigley's. Pets are welcome. There is a private beach at Quigley's for guest use. The Klamath River runs near the RV park and visitors at Quigley's can find biking, hiking, rafting, kayaking, and fishing within a few minutes of the campground.

Waiiaka Trailer Haven

Waiiaka Trailer Haven offers guests in Yreka an RV park with sites for large and small RVs and includes full hook-ups (30- or 50-amp electric, water, sewer.) There are showers and bathrooms for guest use, as well as a laundry facility. Pets are welcome but there are some breed restrictions. Guests should phone ahead to check with management about their pets. Picnic areas and barbecue grills are on the premises for guest use. Lake Siskiyou, Lake Shastina, Klamath River, and Scott River offer visitors opportunities for fishing, rafting, canoeing, and kayak-touring. The Pacific Crest Trails runs through nearby Mount Shasta affording hikers and backpackers many chances for hikes.
