Campgrounds Near Boone Lake, Tennessee

Boone Lake, in eastern Tennessee, provides 130 miles of shoreline for visitors to enjoy. The lake is an ideal spot for boating, swimming and fishing for catfish, bass, trout, and crappie. Camping accommodations vary from rustic tent sites to modern cabin rentals. Several campgrounds offer canoe and other boat rentals for use on the lake during your stay.

Lakeshore RV Park and Cabin Rental

The Lakeshore RV Park, on the edge of Boone Lake, offers RV and tent camping, as well as cabin rentals. RV sites measure 35-feet by 50-feet and include water, electric and sewage hook-ups. Restrooms and showers are available on site to all campers. The cabins feature electricity and indoor plumbing; some cabins include a washer and dryer, sauna or exercise room. Swimming, fishing and boating are permitted on Boone Lake; the campground has lake access and a beach/picnic area.

Warriors' Path State Park

Warriors' Path State Park is on the Patrick Henry Reservoir, which is connected to Boone Lake via the Holston River. The state park covers 950 acres with 8.5 miles of bike trails and nearly 12 miles of hiking trails. The park also has a playground for children, outdoor swimming pool, picnic area with tables and charcoal grills, and a 22-hole disc golf course. Fishing is permitted year-round with a valid Tennessee fishing permit. Canoes and paddle boats can be rented from the marina inside the park. The campground has 134 campsites with 94 sites featuring water and electric hook-ups. Other amenities include restrooms and showers and two RV dumping stations.

Boone Lake Marina

The Boone Lake Marina offers WaveRunner and pontoon boat rentals for use on Boone Lake. Amenities of the marina include a full-service gas dock and an on-site restaurant serving lunch and dinner. The campground at the marina features RV sites with full service hook-ups including sewage, water and electric. Reservations are strongly recommended as RV sites are limited. Restrooms are available during marina business hours but do not include showers.
