Sandy Bottom Campground
The Sandy Bottom Campground is a fairly small campground located right on the Tallulah River. The campground has just 12 tent sites, each of which comes with a pad for setting up your tent, a grill and a picnic table. The Coleman River Trail--a hiking and wildlife viewing trail--runs alongside the campground and guests also have access to swimming and fishing in the Tallulah River.

Tate Branch Campground
The Tate Branch Campground is located near both the Tate Branch and the Tallulah River. The campground offers nearly 20 tent sites; RV camping isn't permitted. Travelers are close to the Coleman River Trail, the Coleman River Scenic Area and the Tallulah River. All campsites come with a grill, tent pad and picnic table.

Tallulah Gorge State Park
The Tallulah Gorge State Park is less than 30 minutes from Clayton and provides 50 campsites for both tents and RVs. Guests staying at the State Park have access to 20 miles of hiking and mountain-bike trails, paved trails for biking and tennis courts. Other available activities include fishing, swimming and ranger tours and classes for kids. The state park also has gorge overlooks from the trails leading to the gorge. The park encourages travelers to make a reservation in advance by calling the park directly.

Rabun Beach Campground
Each of the 80 campsites at the Rabun Beach Campground come with a tent pad and picnic table for tent sites, and water and electric for RV sites. A dump station, drinking fountain, hot showers and a boat launch are offered for guests. Travelers staying at this campground are close to hiking, boating, fishing and swimming opportunities.
