While the Cumberland Mountain State Park offers camping, some travelers may prefer staying in one of the other campgrounds in Crossville, Tennessee.

Lake's Rocky Top Retreat

Formerly part of the KOA company, this campground in Crossville is now known as Lake's Rocky Top Retreat. Water, electric and sewer come with all RV sites, as do cable television and wireless Internet access. The campground also offers tent camping, but you won't find a lot of amenities at the campground. It's more of a basic campground for those who want a quiet place to sleep for the night.

Ballyhoo Family Campground

Tent camping, RV camping and cabin rentals are all available at the Ballyhoo Family Campground. A swimming pool, volleyball court, kiddie pool, laundry room, showers, restrooms, a dump station and game room are offered by the campground. Additionally, guests have access to a playground, miniature golf course, nature trails and boat rentals. Larger campsites are available for those camping in a group.

Bean Pot Campground

The Bean Pot Campground is located near several golf courses, hiking trails, whitewater rafting venues and bike trails. Wireless Internet, a concrete patio, and electric, and water hookups come with all RV sites, but the campground also offers electric-only sites, tent sites and cabin rentals. Attractions at the campground include a nature trail, swimming pool, playground, basketball court and horseshoe pit, as well as a convenience store.

Cumberland Mountain State Park

The Cumberland Mountain State Park has its own tent and RV campsites and also offers cabin rentals for those who prefer them. Bathrooms, showers, picnic tables and barbeque grills are all available for campers. The state park also boasts hiking trails and boating, fishing and swimming in the lake and swimming pools. Guests also have access to volleyball courts, tennis courts, softball fields, horseshoe pits, a playground and badminton courts. The park has its own restaurant that offers all-you-can-eat menus on Friday and Saturday nights.
