Shawnee Lodge and Conference Center
Shawnee Lodge, nestled in the heart of Shawnee State Forest, is a resort that features guestrooms as well as 25 cabins on its premises. Big Rock Cabins
Big Rock Cabins, located in the Scioto County's neighbor, Pike County, is located on 60 acres of forested land that features hiking trails and is within walking distance to Big Rock, a 200 foot tall Ohio landmark. The cabins at Big Rock feature a gas fireplace, queen-sized bed, fully furnished kitchens with refrigerator and oven, gas grill on the deck and a Jacuzzi. Big Rock Cabins is within 20 minutes of Lake Katherine Preserve, which offers opportunities for fishing and boating. Lake Katherine Preserve is also home to the Calico Bush and Salt Creek, a five mile hiking trail that crosses the waterfall at Lake Katherine.
